2.Properties :

white or yellowish floc like fiber powder or white powder,odorless,tasteless, no toxicity; disolved in cold water or hot water, solution is basic or neutral, its solution is stable in ph of 2-10, color-changed temp. is 227οC, charring temp. is 252οC, the surface tension of 2% solution is 71mn/n.

 4.Application :

CMC used for paper coating. It is useful for the dispersing and flowing of the pigments, enhancing the finish and smoothness of the printing quality. It is used for surface sizing to strengthen the paper and reduce the printing dusts. It can increase moisture and improve retention rate in pulping.
