2.Properties :

CMC is a kind of cellulose ether with anion contour's high molecular structure,white to off-white powder or yellowish floc like fiber powder and graininess .It has odorless,tasteless, no toxicity; easily disolved in wate water and become colloidal solution, solution is basic or neutral, its solution is stable in ph of 2-10, color-changed temp. is 227οC, charring temp. is 252οC, the surface tension of 2% solution is 71mn/n,but it can't melt in alcohol, ether, acetone and other organic solvent.

used in fracturing fluid ,drilling fluid and well cementing fluid as fluid loss controller and tackifier. It can protect the shaft wall and prevent mud loss thus enhance recovery efficiency.
